Fightng Fear is commited to supporting and working with community organisations. We strive to engage hard to reach communities through various means including collaborations, training and providing services. Here are some of our current projects.
Supporting sexual and gender minorities is a key aim of Fightng Fear's. Gay Boys to Men is a project that has been taking place for 2 years where we have been working with local LGBTQ+ organisations and associations to help support the mental health needs of Gay and Bisexual men through vairous workshops, webinars and lectures on specific issues impacting on this community. During the global pandemic, Fighting Fear has been and contiunes to support communities by providing evidenced based psychological interventions to help process and decrease distress caused by Covid19 related traumas whilst also aiding the building of much needed resilience during these uncertain times. Using CBT and EMDR based approaches we are able to we are able to help people get through the lockdowns.
